Aspire Lounge wins at AAA Awards

17 November, 2022
Perth Airport’s Aspire Lounge has scored another major accolade winning the Airport Excellence Commercial Award at the National Airport Industry Awards.

This prestigious award recognised the quality of the Lounge’s design and construction despite the challenges faced during the pandemic.

Perth Airport Chief Executive Officer Kevin Brown said, “starting construction during Covid was certainly a risk for our team but for us to be airport ready and provide passengers with a world-class experience when borders reopened was always our priority.

“Working closely with Swissport and our design team, we created a uniquely WA space which can be enjoyed by all passengers, regardless of the airline they’re travelling with.”

The T1 International Aspire Lounge opened in March 2022 and features panoramic views of the airfield and Perth city skyline, offering passengers a cost-effective, high-quality lounge experience.

The Lounge was also recently named the Best Airport Lounge in Oceania at the World Travel Awards in September 2022.
